Phot’ Aix, Photography Festival in Aix-en-Provence
If you are in the region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, don’t miss the Phot’ Aix, the Photographic Festival in Aix-en-Provence. The exhibition takes place from mid November till 31st December, entrance is free. Keen photographers are invited to show their talents using the streets of the city as a starting point and to express themselves through various themes, such as streetscapes, the myth or the reality, the old and the new… Seek out the French and foreign artists who show their photographic work and in doing so the whole experience is much more enjoyable for everyone.
Festival of Light, Lyon
The world famous Festival of Light in Lyon, takes place every on 8th December. Lighting displays, designers, video directors, architects, graphic designers, visual artists and street entertainers will create a unique and unforgettable experience. The monuments of Lyon are absolutely sublime during this particular weekend, a special time to take a stroll around the pedestrian streets, cross the Saône and the Rhône rivers to discover the squares and the narrow streets in a unique city.
