At La Garangeoire, you will enjoy the pleasures of camping in the Vendée countryside, with a particularly sunny micro-climate, and the “Coast of Light” on your doorstep. An introduction to wine tasting is organised by a specialist in oenology. Reserved for lovers of French wines, a special moment awaits you in the château's dining room. There is a charge for this activity, but 2 decorated tasting glasses are offered to each participant!

Nature activities

pond crossing
Come and take part in the pond crossing, a race across the pond in some of the most amazing boats. It's a classic Garangeoire event, and a huge success every year.

Discover La Garangeoire and its natural surroundings by searching for the beacons scattered around the campsite.

A region with a lot to discover
Come and discover the history of Vendée at the many heritage sites including the ornithological and zoological reserves, Puy du Fou theme park, Yeu Island, Noirmoutier and the “Green Venice”. The more sporty among you can cycle to the nearby beaches and harbours.
Château de Talmont
Come and explore one of the oldest (stone) châteaux in France, where you'll be plunged for a moment into the medieval era. It's also the perfect opportunity to discover the Talmond coastline.
