Go back in time in the Ardèche! Explore the Caverne du Pont d’Arc and the many other local caves to learn all about the incredible prehistoric past of the area. Go for a family day out at the Gallo-Romain ruins in Alba. At the end of August, the festival of Avignon takes place.

We liked:

Loved the location, the rural natural style, the eco-oriented operation and features and many other nice details, including friendly and helpfull staff.

We did not like:

Mosquito/flies screens in windows would be maybe a good idea to provide people with an option to sleep with opened windows, during warm nights, rather then cooling the interior with air conditioning.

Overall there is a small intimate feeling wherever you go. Not a single place is too crowded. The staff in the reception, restaurant and cleaning are very helpfull and friendly. The pool is very nice and clean. The small slide is fun.

We did not like:

A few more activities for for children would be nice.

Domaine de Sévenier

Come and stay in the chalet village on this luxurious campsite and take advantage of the sun, nature and garrigue. Each chalet, for between 2 and 8 people, is equipped with solar panels, air conditioning, dishwasher and wifi. A 5-star campsite in Ardèche which is the proof that the great outdoors is the best place for a relaxing holiday. The swimming pool and balneotherapy area with panoramic views are proof of this theory. This riverside campsite is only 4km away from the Ardèche Gorges, which can be explored in a canoe-kayak.
